Opinion: A Champions Cheers to the Playoffs

We have ourselves a pretty large trophy in the SGL I mean the thing fits a whole bowl of cereal, better part of a six pack of Busch Light and wood siding capable of fitting 24 years worth of champions. No weight be heavier than carrying it into a new season in the quest of a back to back. Sure, sure, sure I was third in PF and had to run into the largest PA but the Skulls had just a good of chance of makin the playoffs as the Broncos, whom I bought way too much into and did too little too late to make moves to get in the playoffs but heres to the franchises that did make the playoffs.

Wizards. Your endless shit talk wasn’t the only thing to hurt teams this season, your QB1 overall did a pretty damn good job too. Way to get your money back on the season hopefully you can use it to buy some thicker steaks.

Swans. Look how far you’ve come Swan from a two time Round Risen participant to a second seed in the playoffs. That turn around makes me as proud as Cayla Solis rooting for a kid in the special olympics.

Beast. Another expected playoff berth for a former multi time SGL champion. Even if you dont place this year you’ll at least take home second for worst trade offers of the season.

Ants. Much like my farts, your season was silent but deadly. If there’s anyone I'm rooting for, it's for you. Le’ts get this one for your aunt. (thoughts and prayers)

Gamblers. You proved this year that patience is a virtue nothing new considering you waited till you were married to finally have sex, congrats by the way.

Julep. Sure many will say youre only here because Leo picked half your team but hes just as fucking dumb as you. Congrats on gettin this far after coming out of the draft with 3 QBs.

Hound Dog. Once again we see the old adage that you can’t teach an old Hound dog new tricks. I gotta think the drop off from Cooper Kupp to *checks notes* Chris Moore isn’t as extreme as many make it.

Bulldogs. Way to get the last seed, with a team as boring as the conversational fodder you add to the group chat. Enjoy taking pictures with your girlfriend where ever yall end up instead of watching the games.
