After an incredible WOBO, the dust has settled, the hangovers faded, and we have four teams- all of which were in attendance! This weekend, we saw all four top-seeds upset by their opponent- a first in the 17-year history of the SGL. ​ The Hound Dogs toppled the #1 Skulls, 125.7-104.52, after getting touchdowns from nearly (Judkins) every player on their team to advance to the second round of the SGL Playoffs– the first time since 2020 and only the 4th time ever in franchise history. The Hound Dogs tied one on in celebration. The Hound Dogs have now won 3 in a row to keep their season alive, and started to earnestly get “Hound Dog Year” and “HDY” chants! This is an exciting time for the Hound Dogs. 2 more wins, and the most tortured team and the longest drought in the SGL is lifted. Can you imagine the joy? The Skulls’ year ends in tragedy, becoming the first #1 seed to be upset since the 2020 Dragons- also falling to the Hound Dogs that year. The Skulls ended up getting a monster game...

  Let's take a look at last week. We start off with Blaster's Hound Dogs, who continue to bust that slump  against Walter's Wizards, with a final score of 141.28 to 100.34. Are the Hound Dogs finally taking shape, or is this a flash in the pan that'll give the Hound Dogs just enough to think their team is good? With these back-to-back weeks of high performance, they've been carried by several players —Maye, Swift, McBride —and the hound dog’s grand Vision at the start of the season is coming to fruition. With back-to-back wins, the hound dogs are back in the playoff picture at the right time. Wizards have now lost two in a row as Saquon Barkley's struggles continue. The Wizards are desperate to get back in the win column, but they now find themselves in the mud for the final few playoff spots. It's the most wonderful time of the year! The weather is getting colder, Christmas is coming up, and the 2022 SGL Cup Playoffs are officially here. We have some teams familiar with playing football late into December and some trying to make this more of a holiday tradition! Let's take a look at the 8-maids-a-milking and see which 4 might come up sour.  1.  Walter's Wizards (9-5) Proj: 126.2 vs 8. CDMX Bulldogs (7-7) Proj: 123.1 Congratulations to Walter's Wizards for securing the 1 seed in the 2022 SGL Cup Playoffs. The Wizards went on quite the hot streak to end the season, winning 4/5 and only posting less than 121 once. This is the second time in franchise history- '13; in '13, the Wizards defeated Grant's Gamblers in a way too close, 122-121. The Wizards have faced the Bulldogs 3x, actually, and are (2-1) against them in the playoffs. Week 10 is over. There are 4 weeks left in the season. There have been some shocking moves and unfortunate losses- as there are with every fantasy season. Let's walk through each team and see what moves and gambles worked and which didn't and where they're likely to finish now. Sobey's Snappin' Peas (2-7) - grade? F (2%) Last year's darling team was a favorite coming out of the draft. He walked away with what was widely considered the 1.01 with Jonathan Taylor($76), then surrounded him with Leonard Fournette ($43) and Najee Harris. Jonathan Taylor has not had a game above 16 points since week 1. JT has had only 3 double-digits.  Najee Harris($55) was BENCHED last week.
