Conversation with Boister's Beasts regarding their game with Sean's Swans

(Austin, TX)

The Beasts have now lost 2 in a row, and they sat down with some of the League Office to discuss their current struggles and how they plan to combat them going into a rivalry week.

How do you feel about the Swans this week? A rival team who is trying to get into the playoff picture. Are you preparing any differently?

Beasts: "I really want to win. Matchup is whatever. If my team shows up- we should win but who knows. I just really want to win to relieve a little stress lol. [We] need some big points...can't let them catch us. lol"

SGL: With the Swans being a rival in the now dissolved KVO, does that factor into your preparing?

Beasts: No. We're 3-1 against the Swans all-time. The Swans might see this as a rivalry game, but the Beasts don't really. The Swans should worry about posting over 100.

SGL: It sounds like you're taking a shot at the Swans there. Anything else you'd like to add for this week?

Beasts: No.

From this quick call, the Beasts appear to not be threatened by their matchup this week. We'll see if this is bulletin board material for the Swans as they get ready. With a loss this week, the Swans could drop to (2-5). That would put them in dangerous territory of not making the SGL Cup Playoffs for the third year in a row.
